Putting It Down
I’ve been starting my day with meditation, and it feels like such a gift. When this practice anchors my mornings, I notice how much better I function — more grounded, more present, more myself.
I’m currently participating in a 30-day intention-setting challenge, and each day ends with choosing a single intention to carry forward. Today’s intention is simple, but powerful: to put down what I no longer need to carry.
That intention opened the door to several meditations designed to support release and letting go. I chose one at random, trusting the process. And as the universe so often does, it met me exactly where I was. The meditation spoke directly to the weight I’ve been holding — quietly, faithfully — and reminded me that not everything is mine to keep carrying.
There’s something deeply comforting about realizing you’re allowed to set things down. To rest your hands. To soften your shoulders. To trust that space, once cleared, can hold something lighter.
